The esplanade was off in the background to the right. We weren't able to see it, but we were located near one of the speakers so we were able to enjoy all of the performers. During our wait from our arrival at 2pm to the concert starting at 8:30pm, we kept a close eye out for the Navy Seals reportedly swimming offshore to protect the barge and river...was that one over my shoulder??
